(I found this mod to be easily installed.) Many who doubted that Quake 3 could abandon the single-player campaigns of its predecessors and sell itself based solely on the appeal of its multiplayer deathmatch modes were. However, I'm new to mods - I've only installed one in my entire life and that was ZRP for Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl. I'm aiming for a single-player experience. Q3 Spearmint has even more improvements (better widescreen support for example), but it's intended for single player gaming mostly. ![]() If you want to play online, I suggest to use ioQuake3 along with some new and shiny and textures. There are two very good sourceports of the Q3 engine: ioQuake3 and Q3 Spearmint (, basically Spearmint is based on ioQuake3 and that's the reason why the website says that it's ioQuake 3, the package really contains Spearmint).
